About Audrey

Production Experience:

audrey-01 Audrey Geyer has been an independent video producer/director for over 15 years, and many of her programs have aired locally and nationally on PBS. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Visions, a non-profit 501(c)3 independent video production company located in Metro Detroit. Visions' focuses on the production of public affairs documentaries, which tell the stories of communities underrepresented in the mainstream media. Visions' recently completed a one hour documentary on Midwest Native American role models entitled, "Our Fires Still Burn: The Native American Experience." (COPYRIGHT 2013)

She graduated with a BA in Film/Video Studies from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and has a Masters degree in Social Work from NYU.

As an independent video producer/director for over 15 years, Audrey Geyer has completed a number of successful public affairs documentaries. Many of her programs have aired nationally on the Public Broadcasting System, PBS, with corporate and foundation sponsorship support. The documentaries have also aired on cable television stations across the US, in Canada and other markets.
